Born in 1956 in the United States, Attillio Maggia Rosa returned to his ancestral lands as a teenager, where he would enroll in the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, Italy. There, he received training in various mediums that would accompany him throughout his multidisciplinary career. As both a sculptor, painter and musician, he constantly experimented with forms of expression and diverse materials. Drawing inspiration from nature and its elements, he alternately created decorative objects and lighting fixtures that captivated with their illusionistic power and the delicacy of their details.
Starting in the mid-1980s, Maggia Rosa embarked on a new production phase that expressed his personal vision of interior decoration. He forged numerous collaborations with architects and antique dealers, including Maurizio Epifani (who passed away in 2019), to create pieces that were both organic and sophisticated, now collected worldwide.
