Ursula Morley-Price was born in London in 1936 and graduated from the School of Fine Arts in 1961. She began working with ceramics and settled in France in the early 1970s. Her coil-built technique and fossilized floral inspiration make Morley-Price’s pieces easily recognizable among others.
She has had numerous museum exhibitions, including at the Metropolitan Museum of New York, Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, Cité de la Céramique in Sèvres, and the Piscine Museum in Roubaix, to name just a few.
